Interesting Facts About Tivoli Gardens
Tivoli Gardens is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world. It was founded by Georg Carstensen and it opened its doors to the public on August 15, 1843. This place has a rich history spanning more than a century. It has played a significant role in Danish cultural history and has been a source of inspiration for other amusement parks worldwide.
Here you'll find the Rutschebanen. It's one of the park's highlights as it's a wooden roller coaster constructed in 1914. It's known as one of the world's oldest rollercoasters that are still operational. As a fan of rollercoasters and thrilling rides, I feel lucky that I got to ride it in this lifetime.
