In one of my blog posts, I've told y'all about my chafing problems and how anti-chafe creams are a must-have for me whenever I would go on LSDs or whenever I have a running event. Now these creams can get quite pricey depending on the brand that you will buy, however I have discovered a cheaper alternative with the same effect.

Island Basics Body + Sole anti-chafe friction control cream is a locally manufactured skin product made to prevent chafing by creating a preventive barrier against friction and moisture. Simply apply liberal amounts of it on areas of the skin that are prone to chafing and that's it. It is made of natural ingredients like virgin coconut oil, beeswax, tea tree oil, peppermint oil, Shea butter, and natural vitamin E that makes it gentle on skin.

Body + Sole cream is very effective and could last up to five hours. What I like about it is that it has a mild scent. Also, it does not leave the skin feeling dry because it has Shea butter which is a natural moisturizer. It is very inexpensive compared to other brands of anti-chafe cream. A 50g tube costs only Php.195, which is cheaper compared to its US-branded alternatives with prices that range from Php.800 to Php.1000. I would recommend this product since it is as effective as other brands minus the hefty price. You can buy one at any Secondwind Running Store location. :)
