As promised, here is the second edition of my Siargao foodie adventures. If you haven't read that blog post yet, I suggest that you do before you continue reading this.

On my return trip there, one of the things that I was really looking forward to was the food. There were a lot of restaurants that I have yet to try there so I really promised myself that on my return, I would eat in places that I have not eaten in yet. Okay, so here goes.

Bravo Siargao

A lot of hotels and resorts in Siargao come with a restaurant and Bravo Siargao is one of them. This place popped up during my Google searches for the best restaurant in Siargao and I didn't get to try it during my first time in the island. So when I came back, this was the first place that I thought of to eat. I understood why it was known as one of the best restaurants in the island. The food there was superb, and the prices range from Php150 to Php400. Also, on Sunday nights, they throw quite a party.
Peri Peri Chicken Thighs - Php240
Kofta Kebab Roll - Php190

Bulalohan Bangkerohan

After drinking, there is nothing better to eat than a hot bowl of soup. I got try this place after partying with some locals. They took me here for some good ol' bulalo, which is a Filipino soup dish with beef bone marrow. It is not as weird as it sounds. In fact it is very good especially when eaten with rice, which is, of course, a Filipino staple. Personally, I'm not a big bulalo fan but this place really served 'em good. I like that their version had a bit of spicy kick to it.

Viento Del Mar

There was one day when I was craving for shakshouka so I checked online for restaurants that serves 'em and I saw that Viento Del Mar does. Or at least they used to. I was disappointed because when I got there, I found out that they changed their menu but did not bother to change the one on the website. Because I was sooo hungry that time I decided to eat there anyways and ended up ordering their chicken meal. For the price, the food was just so-so.

Cantina Luna

This restaurant is an al fresco restaurant that serves yummy Filipino dishes in huge servings. It is probably one of the very few restaurants here in Siargao that actually offer Filipino cuisine. Dishes here cost Php150 to Php300, and each dish is good for two to three people.

Schatzi's Tapsilog Place

I went here with one of the locals after drinking, and we had a lot to drink. I was craving for some post-drinking food, silog meals in particular, which is why we ended up here. This place is a typical hole-in-the-wall food place that's open for 24 hours and serves good and cheap rice meals under Php100.
Tocilog (tocino, fried rice, and egg)

Kayaha Grill

This place is kinda underrated, I guess. Because not a lot of people really eat here. But I am so glad that I decided to try this place because of three reasons. One, the food is really really good. Two, the food is cheap, where meals normally cost Php150 and below. And three, the staff are very friendly and attentive. I ordered grilled chicken and rice, and the serving was sooo big. I really recommend this place.

Kobe's Dessert Place

There are only a few dessert places in Siargao and Kobe's is one of them. I actually got to try this place during my first trip to Siargao but I forgot what it was called so I ended up not including it in my blog post. Kobe's Dessert Place serves a variety of desserts from cupcakes to refrigerator cakes. The cupcakes cost Php50 each.
Moist Chocolate Cupcake and Red Velvet Cupcake

Harana Surf Resort

Harana is one of the popular resorts and restaurants in the island. They serve breakfast meals very early in the morning until 10pm, and dishes good for lunch and dinner for the rest of the day. I've eaten here several times and is personally one of my favorite restaurants in Siargao for two reasons: the food is really good and they have a great ambiance.
International Breakfast - bacon, two eggs, salad, choice of bread or rice,
and seasonal fruits

Not included in this post is the lunch that we had during our Bucas Grande tour. I wish I got to take some photos of the food but we were just so hungry at the time that we forgot to do so. We just went straight to eating the food.

Okay, so that is it for this post. I hope that my next trip to Siargao will be longer I can get to feature more restaurants on the next edition. I hope that this post was helpful if ever you are planning a trip to my favorite place. :)
