Hello, I'm back after a week of hiatus. Anyways, as promised, I will return with a few blog posts about my latest travel adventure. And to start with, let me post about Sebay Surf Resort.

Sebay Surf Resort is one of those popular resorts in San Juan, La Union. Just for a quick intro, San Juan is the surfing capital of La Union and it is where I spent the last weekend of November. I will tell you more about that later. For now, let's stick with this, shall we?
Sebay Surf Resort is located in Urbiztondo, San Juan, La Union.

I stayed at Sebay Surf Resort for two nights with JC and his friends, and our first impression of it was not so good as we were greeted by not-so-friendly front desk people. We stayed in the barkada room which is good for eight persons and had to pay the full amount upon checking in. Which was weird. Because we're used to paying the full amount upon check out. At least that's what I experienced in almost all hotels and resorts that I have stayed in.

The room was okay. It was a bit cramped but at least everyone get to have their own beds. Towels are provided for each guest which is good especially if you're the type who likes to pack light. Each room comes with its own bathroom. The bathroom is just okay. I'm gonna leave it at that.  The room is also equipped with cable TV and it is fully air-conditioned.

Sebay's restaurant/bar where you can get a nice view of the beach while dining

Sebay Surf Resort has a beach side restaurant and bar that serves a variety of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I got to try their breakfast buffet for Php.169 per head. It was okay. Typical breakfast food like fried rice, fried fish, hotdogs, eggs, tocino, just to name a few. There is nothing really special about it. However, with live acoustic playing every Friday and Saturday nights, the restaurant and bar is cool place to hangout at during those nights.

Overall, I had an okay experience at Sebay Surf Resort. I would recommend this place if you're looking for budget accommodations during your stay in San Juan. You can check out their website here for more information on their rates and amenities. With rooms as low as Php.2000 for two persons, accommodations are really affordable. However, if I were to go back there, I would most probably try the other resorts just because. :)
