So on my La Union travel diary, I mentioned Midway Grill, which is a popular restaurant in the city of San Fernando, La Union. It was recommended that we try it once we get to La Union. And so we did and it was indeed worth the try.

Midway Grill is a restaurant, made to look like a 50's diner, that serves American food. My first impression of it was that it seemed like a cool place to hang out in. Check it out.

their bestseller: the baby back ribs
clubhouse sandwich with ham and cheese, coleslaw, and egg, served with fries

Upon my first bite of their baby back ribs, I totally understood why it was their bestseller. It was absolutely delicious. The meat was so tender and the sauce was absolutely tasty. The sandwich was yummy too but if I were to return there, it would be for the ribs.

All in all, we had a good dining experience at Midway Grill. The service was pretty quick. And it came as a surprise for us that the food was that good since the prices on the menu were pretty reasonable. A budget Php.150 to Php.230 per person is not that pricey for really good food. They come in big servings too.

Midway Grill is located just along MacArthur Hwy in San Fernando, La Union. Do check it out if you're in the area and get yourself some of those ribs. You won't regret it. :)
