BenCab Museum in Benguet is, by far, the best museum I've been to. This four-level museum is the house of National Artist Benedicto Cabrera's collection of his own works, as well as some of the works of our country's contemporary artists. Ben Cabrera's workshop is located here too.

BenCab Museum has a few galleries, each with a theme of its own. The Philippine Contemporary Art Galleries contains the artist's collection of paintings, drawings, and sculpture. The smaller galleries contains other artworks that the artist has accumulated through the years. Check out some of the photos I've taken.

Each artwork featured in the BenCab Museum provides a feast for the eyes that you wouldn't find anywhere else. As an artist and an arts enthusiast, this was a great venue to find inspiration. Aside from the several art galleries, Ben Cab Museum also has a café, a souvenir shop, and a farm and garden.

Ben Cab Museum is located along Asin Road, Tadiangan in Tuba, Benguet. It is a good 15-minute drive from Baguio City center. You can take a jeep to Asin from the jeepney terminal near Baguio Market. The museum is open from 9:00am to 6:00pm, last admission at 5:30pm, every Tuesdays thru Sundays. For more information, just click here. :)
