Oh look, the title rhymes! Haha. I love, love, love Italian food. I love pasta and pizza. Even though our country's staple food is rice, I prefer bread and pasta most of the time. That is if I have a choice. Must be the reason why I can't ever get to shed off some pounds. But what can I do? I don't really wanna deprive myself of the things I love.
Here's my most recent food discovery. Bistro Ravioli has been there in Glorietta for quite some time now but it was just the other day that I decided to check it out with my sister. I've read some reviews about it so I kinda already have some expectations about it. Bistro Ravioli is known to serve affordable Italian cuisine made from fresh ingredients. For starters, we ordered one pan of their delicious pizza. I wanted to order two plates of pasta but the manager advised that it would be too much for the two of us. So we got just one for sharing.
Bolognese Spaghetti. Pasta in tomato sauce, topped with meat, fresh
herbs and served with toasted garlic bread.
Margherita Pizza. Delectable brick-oven pizza with tomatoes, basil,
and mozzarella.
And he was right, the servings were enormous that we didn't get to finish it all. Needless to say, my expectations were met. For a restaurant that caters freshly cooked food, the service was pretty fast. Everything was delicious, especially the pasta and the peach iced tea. And I really don't know any other restaurant that has peach iced tea. If you do, let me know.
Bistro Ravioli is located on the second floor of Glorietta 3. There is also a branch in the SM Mall of Asia and Robinson's Place Ermita.
