In the past several months, lots of running events have been taking place everywhere. Even if some of them are far from the city, runners would still participate and support these events. While that is great and all, one of the dilemmas here is where to stay the night before these running events. You see, these events usually start around 4am, some even as early as 3am. So it would be too much of a hassle to be traveling in the wee hours of the morning or super late at night just to get to these events. I, for one, would prefer to book a hotel that's near the race venue so I can get a good night's rest before the event.

discovered Technopark Hotel when I attended a running event just to watch it. Note: watch, meaning I did not run. I came to support friends who ran their very first full marathon. They finished strong but more about that next time. Back to the hotel. So, Technopark Hotel is locatein Sta. Rosa, Laguna, just near Nuvali where the marathon was held. We got a room last minute so we settled for the deluxe room which is good for two persons. It costs Php.3500. But since there were three of us, we had to pay an additional Php.1000. Check it out.

Each room is fully air-conditioned anequipped with a satellite TV, broadband access, a mini refrigerator, a closet, a safety deposit box, a telephone, hot and cold shower and a bathtub, and in-room coffee and tea set. The hotel has a nice pool, gym, a restaurant and a coffee shop. Each person checking in gets a stub for the breakfast buffet and another stub for welcome drinks upon arrival. Also, the hotel offers shuttle services if ever you need to go somewhere around the area. Plus points for that.
what I ate from the breakfast buffet

The foowas good but there was nothing really special about it. What I really loveduring my stay there is the friendly staff and the good customer service. These are some of the things I look for in hotels. I believe that they are really important because they can somehow make or break your travel experience. It is because when traveling, hotels are like your home away from home.

I would recommend Technopark Hotel if ever you need a place to stay in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. It is pretty close to Enchanted Kingdom, which is always worth the visit if you are thrill-seeker. For more information, you can check out their website here. :)
