I haven't done food posts in a while. Now, this one is a bit overdue. I actually created this post three weeks ago but haven't got around to publishing it so here goes.

One of my friends suggested that I stop by Isdaan Restaurant if I'll be passing through Tarlac. And taking his word for it, I went here for lunch with my family on our way home from Baguio. Isdaan Restaurant is a destination itself as it offers lots of things and activities for its customers, especially kids, to enjoy.

But let's get to the food. Here's what we ordered.
The rice comes in cute little pots like this. Each serving is good for
2-3 persons.
Fish and Seafood Medley
Sinigang sa Buho (Shrimp) - Php.235
Inihaw na Manok (Grilled Chicken) - Php.254
Inihaw na Baboy (Grilled Pork) - Php.285
Tinadtad na Mangga (Sliced Green Mangoes), served with onions,
tomatoes, and bagoong (shrimp paste) - Php.47

Everything was delicious. I especially loved the sinigang na hipon. I'm allergic to seafood but I love 'em anyways. Some of their dishes were affordable and priced just right. Some were pretty steep, but the taste was worth it. One thing that I have to tell you though is that the soft drinks are way overpriced. I mean, Php.40 for a 12oz bottle of Coke? Really? It's like around Php.12 in local stores if I'm not mistaken. Not good. Hmm.

So thumbs up for their delicious and very Pinoy dishes. One thumb down for the expensive soft drinks. Isdaan Restaurant is located along National Road in Gerona, Tarlac. I'd recommend that you stop by if you're in the area. :)

Oh, and before I forget, do join my blog giveaway here. Wishing you a happy week ahead. XOXO. :)
