Misari Speedboat Park wasn’t originally at the top of my Seoul itinerary, but it quickly became one of my favorite autumn stops. The main reason we went was to see the pink muhly grass, which had been all over social media during fall. Since Seoul gets extremely touristy during autumn foliage season, I wanted somewhere a little more relaxed.

It’s definitely farther out compared to the usual city attractions, but that’s exactly why I liked it. It felt quieter and less chaotic, especially during peak foliage season.
How to Get to Misari Speedboat Park
You can get to Misari Speedboat Park either by subway or by bus. If you’re taking the subway, the easiest route is to get off at Misa Station Line 5, then walk for around 15 minutes to the park.
If you prefer taking the bus, there are bus routes that go to the area as well, but routes can vary depending on where you’re coming from. I’d recommend checking Naver Map for the most updated bus options and the exact stop closest to the park. Even though it feels quite far from the city center, it’s still covered by the Climate Card, which was convenient.

What to Do at Misari Speedboat Park
There honestly isn’t a long list of activities here, which is part of its appeal.
See the Pink Muhly Grass
The pink muhly grass is the main highlight of the park and the primary reason we went. During autumn, the fields turn into soft, cotton-candy-like pink clusters that look especially pretty under natural light. There are designated paths where you can walk and take photos without stepping on the grass. It’s very photo-friendly but still peaceful because it’s not as crowded as other autumn hotspots in Seoul.
Enjoy the Autumn Foliage
Aside from the pink muhly, you’ll also see autumn leaves throughout the park. The mix of red, orange, and yellow trees adds to the seasonal atmosphere. Since the park is farther out, it doesn’t feel overwhelmingly touristy. It was refreshing to enjoy fall colors without squeezing through large crowds.

Take a Relaxed Walk or Bike Ride
The park has wide open paths, and you’ll see a lot of locals riding bikes or going for leisurely walks. It feels more like a community space than a tourist attraction. We spent time just walking around and taking everything in. It’s one of those places where you don’t need a strict plan. You just enjoy the space, the weather, and the scenery.
Misari Speedboat Park isn’t packed with attractions, but that’s not really the point. It’s a place to slow down, especially during one of Seoul’s busiest seasons. As someone who frequently visits Seoul, I’m always looking for somewhere new to explore, and this gave me a really nice break from the usual spots.
It may not be as famous as the typical autumn destinations, but that’s exactly why I appreciated it. The quieter atmosphere made it feel more local and less rushed. If you’ve already seen the usual fall hotspots, this is a good alternative to add to your list.
