Love Locks
Namsan Tower has earned a reputation as a romantic destination, thanks to its scenic backdrop. Couples often visit to affix padlocks or "love locks" along the railing, symbolizing their bond and shared memories. You can bring your own lock or buy one from the souvenir shop.
I did this and even if I was traveling solo, this was a fun activity. I purchased a heart-shaped lock for KRW8,000 and on it, I wrote the date of my visit and an inspiring quote. I tried to find the lock four months later and failed miserably.
