Here is another restaurant that I would highly recommend in El Nido.

The Beach Shack is located along Maremegmeg Beach in El Nido. It offers both al fresco and indoor seating options. The menu is composed of different type of cuisine from Filipino favorites to Western comfort food.

When you go to The Beach Shack they will hand you two menus - one for The Beach Shack itself and the other is for Bugana Restaurant. Both of these restaurants are owned by Mua Tala, which is a boutique resort.

I went to The Beach Shack and spend nearly the whole day there so I could do some online work with a nice beachfront view. Take note that they do not have wifi; I brought my own. Since I was there the whole day, I ended up ordering a few items on the menu.

The Beach Shack: Mango Shake - PHP160
The Beach Shack: Quesadillas - PHP200
Bugana Restaurant: Pizza - PHP300

I also ordered coffee in between for less than PHP100, and they got me French pressed coffee which was so good.

Overall, I loved the food that I ordered in both restaurants. The quesadillas were delicious, and the fillings in it were very generous. The pizza was good too.

Here is what the restaurant looks like. And when the evening is approaching, you get a really good view of the sunset from here.

To go to The Beach Shack, you can charter a tricycle from the town proper and tell the driver that you want to go to Maremegmeg Beach. If you are driving, you can find it on Google Maps here.
