When going on a land tour on Siargao Island, one of the tourist spots that you can visit is Taktak Falls. This waterfall is located in the municipality of Sta. Monica, which is roughly 1.5 hours away from General Luna.

From General Luna, you just have to take the airport road and turn right at the Siargao Circumferential Road. When you drive along this road, you will pass by several tourist spots so you can make an entire day trip out of it. Here is the location of Taktak Falls on Google Maps. It's quite easy to find and there is a sign close to the entrance.

Once you arrive at the location, you will see a concrete parking area and a registration area where you need to pay for your entrance. Beside the registration area, there is a small store where you can buy snacks and refreshments. From there, it's a quick walk to the waterfall which would take less than ten minutes.
