Want to know what my favorite places in Siargao are? They're usually located in the north of the island. What I love about the north is that it's so underrated, not a lot of people go there. If you want to get some peace and quiet, away from the usual touristy crowd, the north is the perfect place for that.

Is Da' Market is one of those underrated places. It is a small restaurant located in the town Burgos, which is around two hours away from General Luna. It is pretty hard to spot because it is a bit "hidden". Basically when you reach the its location, all you'll see is a wet market that sells fish and other seafood. On the right side of the market, there is a staircase that goes up to the second floor that looks like a warehouse. Once you go in, you'll be taken to an al fresco dining area with breathtaking views of the ocean. And that is Is Da' Market.
fries with butter garlic dip and tomato salsa dip
flat bread with three dips: hummus, cucumber dip, and caramelized onions

The food is so good here and is always served freshly cooked. My favorite is the flat bread with the three dips. I have also tried their pumpkin salad and samosas, and they were all really satisfying.

I would definitely recommend this place if ever you're in the north.
