On the eighth day of my backpacking trip, I went on a walking tour around Bangkok to see more of what the city has to offer. I had no concrete itinerary so I ended up just walking around and taking photos of places and things that I find interesting.
Wat Suthat Thepwararam
Giant Swing
Bangkok City Pillar
After a morning of walking around, I went to the nearest McDonald's for a quick lunch while also using their wifi. Apparently, not all restaurants in Bangkok have free wifi compared to Cambodia and Vietnam where everywhere has wifi. When I was done with lunch, I booked a Grab motorbike and made my way to Chatuchak Market for an afternoon of pasalubong shopping and eating more street food.
When I was done with shopping, I went back to my hostel to get some rest. After taking a nap, I went out again to meet up with a friend for coffee and take a walk along Khao San Road. We then had dinner and drinks, which pretty much concluded my eighth day.
