After my Cambodia travel diaries, you know the drill. I'll be posting what I ate during the Cambodia leg of my trip.

Day 3. So the third day of my trip, I ate at Burger King in Phnom Penh. I didn't take a photo of what I ate there because there was really nothing special about it.

After Burger King, I did went to the night market and ended up trying one of their desserts. I had this local ice cream served in a bowl made out of coconut husk.

Day 4. For my first official meal in Cambodia, I went to a cafe in Siem Reap called The ARTillery. It is a cute cafe that serves healthy meals. I had the Personalized Bowl, where I got to choose the ingredients - with your choice of carbs as base, your choice of protein, and your choice of toppings and dressing. I went for brown rice topped with seared tuna, avocado slices, carrots, mango slices, grilled corn and seaweed, served with lime and olive oil dressing. It was sooo good. I also ordered fresh coconut juice.

For lunch, I went to Sister Srey Cafe and ordered their vegan burger served with kamote fries. The patty was made out of chickpeas. It was really tasty, but I didn't like the fact that the patty kept falling apart.

Dinner at the hostel was home-made tacos, quesadillas, onion rings, and garlic toast served with pumpkin soup. I loved that they had a vegetarian option for this.

Day 5. I woke up on the fifth day with zero appetite because of the alcohol I drank from the night before. Which is why I completely skipped breakfast that day.

My first meal for that day was lunch at a restaurant called Pres Borann, located inside the Angkor Wat complex. I ordered sweet and sour tofu, served with rice.

For dinner, I went with a few guys from the hostel to go to Hi Coffee and Pizza. I ordered the chicken lok lak, which is a traditional Khmer dish.

The rest of my intake in Cambodia was mostly of alcohol and I don't think I need to post photos of that. So there you go. That's it for the Cambodia leg of my trip. Up next is Thailand, home to one of my faves: pad Thai.
