Whenever I’m in South Korea and craving something quick, filling, and affordable, Eggdrop is one of my go-to spots. This famous sandwich chain has branches all over the country, especially in the big cities, so it’s never hard to find one.

K-drama fans might already recognize Eggdrop since it has made appearances in popular shows like Hospital Playlist, Love Next Door, and My Dearest Nemesis.

The menu covers a wide range of sandwiches, from the simple ham and cheese to more indulgent ones with avocado, bacon, or even bulgogi, which is thinly sliced beef marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and other seasonings, then grilled until tender and flavorful.

What really makes Eggdrop stand out is their signature sauce. Every sandwich comes drizzled with it, adding a creamy, slightly tangy flavor that ties everything together. No matter which filling you go for, that sauce gives it the recognizable Eggdrop taste that fans love.

Best of all, it’s affordable. For as low as KRW7,000, you can get a set with a sandwich, a hash brown, and a drink. It’s hard to beat that value in Seoul or Busan, especially considering how satisfying the portions are. I'd highly recommend trying Eggdrop if you're visiting Korea.
