During my most recent visit in Seoul, I visited J-Hope’s 'And What?' exhibition, held on the 17th floor of AK Plaza in Hongdae. The exhibit opened to celebrate his career as a solo artist and runs until June 22, giving fans a rare opportunity to experience his artistry in a more intimate setting.

The exhibition is divided into five themed sections: Pioneer, Dancer, Performer, Storyteller, and Musician. Each one highlights a different facet of J-Hope’s journey, showing how he has grown and challenged himself as an artist. Walking through the space, you get a sense of his versatility and the way he constantly pushes boundaries.
Some of the most moving parts were the displays of historic moments in his solo career. These included being the first Korean artist to perform on the main stage of Lollapalooza Chicago and the first Korean solo singer to headline BMO Stadium during his world tour. Seeing those milestones presented in this way felt both celebratory and motivating.

Beyond the photos and installations, there are also personal touches throughout the exhibition. Stage props such as J-Hope’s microphones, in-ear monitors, and performance costumes are on display, making it feel like you’re getting a peek into his world behind the spotlight.

Before leaving, you can also stop by the official merchandise zone. The shop offers a range of exclusive items including stickers, key rings, phone grips, pajamas, and more. It’s a fun way to take a piece of the exhibition home with you, and of course, a tempting stop for anyone who loves BTS merch.
