While we were in Canada, we made a stop at Rocko's Diner in Mission, British Columbia. If you're a fan of the Netflix series Riverdale, you might recognize it as Pop’s Chock'lit Shoppe, the iconic hangout spot for Archie and the gang. It’s one of those places that’s gained a lot of popularity because of the show, but honestly, even without the TV connection, it’s worth a visit.
The places has a full 1950s vibe, from the bright red booths to the retro jukeboxes and checkered floors. It really feels like stepping back in time, and the atmosphere was a big part of the charm.
As for the food, it didn’t disappoint either. We ordered their classic poutine for sharing, which came out just right: golden fries topped with rich, savory gravy and plenty of melted cheese curds. I also went for a classic breakfast combo - waffles served with eggs and bacon. It wasn’t fancy or complicated, just simple, comforting diner food done well.

The menu itself is full of options, from hearty breakfasts meals to burgers, sandwiches, and desserts, so there’s something for everyone at any time of the day.

Between the nostalgic decor, the Riverdale fame, and the solid comfort food, it’s easy to see why Rocko’s Diner has built such a loyal following. If you're anywhere nearby and looking for a fun stop, it's definitely worth popping into.
