While in Barcelona, I was looking for a good brunch spot near Sagrada Familia. I didn’t want anything too fancy, just something filling to start my day. That’s when I came across Goofretti GaudĂ, a creperie just a 10-minute walk from the famous basilica. It seemed like a popular place, but since I went around 10am, it wasn’t crowded yet.

Goofretti offers a brunch set that lets you customize your meal, which is a nice touch. I don’t remember all the options available, but I went with a four-cheese crepe roll and a salad made with arugula, chicken breast, tomatoes, onion, and Caesar dressing. The set also came with a coffee—a much-needed pick-me-up.
The crepe roll was really tasty, with a nice balance of cheese without being too rich. The salad was fresh, and the combination of flavors worked well. As for the coffee, it was surprisingly good—smooth and strong, just how I like it.

For €8.50 or around PHP515, the brunch set was a fantastic deal. It was a complete meal, filling but not too heavy, and everything tasted fresh. If you’re in the area and looking for an affordable, satisfying brunch, Goofretti GaudĂ is a solid choice.
