Just recently, as a treat for myself, I got the Morphe Soul of Summer eyeshadow palette. Normally when it comes to make-up, I am sooo far from bougie that I would always buy drugstore brands. My favorites are Maybelline, L'Oreal, Revlon, and E.L.F. I did own a couple of Urban Decay palettes but they were both gifts. Which is why I was thrilled when I finally got my first Morphe palette. I mean Morphe isn't exactly bougie but it is not cheap either.

Anyway, enough blabbing. Here it is and here are my thoughts about it.

On the outside, the packing is very simple and very classic. Inside are twelve shimmer eyeshadow shades in warm colors that reminded me of summer, champagne, and sunsets.

Pros:
  • The colors are rich and the formula of the product is very creamy.
  • The metallic finish is stunning!
  • I was too lazy to take photos when I did some swatches but they're all very pigmented. You can check this review here for actual swatches.
  • The mirror is in a decent size.
  • For it's price point, it is not too expensive nor cheap, and definitely worth every penny.
Cons:
  • It does not have any matte shades so it's not as versatile.
  • It does not come with any applicator or brush.
But then again, Morphe produces its own line of quality brushes so why not just get a set from them, right?

Overall, I really love this palette. It doesn't have any matte shades but one can never go wrong with shimmer. What I love most about it is that the colors are very wearable, no matter what the occasion is and that they go will with my tanned skin.

The Morphe Soul of Summer palette retails for $19 at Poshmark. Personally, I got mine for Php900 at a local reseller on Instagram called @jupiterjanemanila. You can check out their IG account for more Morphe products and other make-up brands.
