Mozhuting Burning Noodles was one of those places I came across while researching on Tiktok where to eat in Taipei. It's a popular Taiwanese chain known for its Sichuan-style burning noodles, and judging by the number of people that started arriving while I was there, it's clearly a favorite among locals as well.

I arrived right around the 11am opening time, which was a good decision. The restaurant was somewhat quiet when I first got there, so I found a seat right away. By noon, though, the place had started to fill up.

I ordered the Shrimp Wonton Burning Noodles as part of a set meal that came with a side dish and a drink. For my side, I chose the five-spice dried tofu. The noodles were served dry rather than in a soup, with a spicy sauce coating each strand, while the handmade shrimp wontons added a bit more substance to the meal.

Everything was really tasty and worked well together. The noodles had plenty of flavor without being too spicy, and the wontons were a nice addition, making it more filling. I also liked the five-spice dried tofu as it rounded out the meal nicely.

Overall, I could see why Mozhuting Burning Noodles is so popular. The food was satisfying, the portions were good, and the menu offered something a little different from the beef noodle soups and dumplings. It's definitely a place I'd recommend.
