LeNu Chef Wai’s Noodle Bar has several locations around Singapore, and I happened to have one right across my hotel at City Square Mall. After a long day of sightseeing, I just wanted something filling and local for dinner. I stood there for a while debating where to eat because I didn’t want to default to fast food.
When I saw LeNu, it looked decent, not too crowded but with enough people inside to suggest it was reliable, and the good reviews helped me decide. I went in and was seated right away.
I ordered the braised pork rib with scallion dry noodles, and it turned out to be a solid choice. The noodles were cooked perfectly with a good bite to them, and the sauce was rich without being overwhelming. The pork was tender and flavourful, and it all came together really well.
At SGD 12.90, I thought it was reasonably priced. Food in Singapore can add up quickly, but this felt worth it, especially given the generous portion. It was one of those simple meals that ends up being very satisfying. I left full and quietly pleased with my decision.
