Santouka Ramen is a Japanese restaurant that originated in Hokkaido. It opened its first location in the Philippines in 2013 and has expanded to 12 locations.
Since moving to Tagaytay, this restaurant has been my go-to Japanese food place. Their Tagaytay branch is in Ayala Serin. Apart from ramen, they also offer small plates of food, like gyoza, sushi, and chicken karaage, plus ramen meal sets. Other locations, especially the ones in the Metro, have more food options.
Here's what I tried so far.
Miso Ramen |
Chicken Gyoza Furai |
Char Siu Roll |
As someone who considers Japanese food as comfort food, Santouka Ramen is quite good. I love how flavorful the ramen is. I've eaten here a few times and the quality has always been consistent. I also loved their gyoza, both the steamed and the fried versions.
