Tour A is another popular island hopping tour in El Nido. While some islands and beaches look the same, Tour A includes some activities that are different from what Tour C offers.

I joined this tour on my third day in El Nido. I booked with the same tour agency because they gave me a good deal for booking more than one tour. The people in the tour group were pretty much the same from the day before, plus some new faces.

Here is the itinerary for Tour A: Seven Commandos Beach, Secret Lagoon, Payong-Payong Beach, Shimizu Island, and Big Lagoon.

Seven Commandos Beach is a beautiful beach surrounded by limestone cliffs, and lined
with coconut trees near the shoreline. It has fine white sand leading to clear turquoise waters.
It was named after seven soldiers who got stranded there in World War II.

Secret Lagoon is a small lagoon concealed by cliffs. To get to the lagoon, you have to swim
a very short distance until you reach shallow waters. And then you will see a cave-like entrance
to the left, going into the lagoon.

From the entrance of Secret Lagoon, you will see Payong-Payong Beach to your right. It is another
white-sand beach surrounded by clear waters.

Shimizu Island is an island that has a small beach, with two tall cliffs on either side. It was
a nice beach for chilling and relaxing. It was where we had lunch.

After lunch, we headed to a nice snorkeling spot in the middle of the ocean. We were told that
if we were lucky, we'd get to see sea turtles. Well, we weren't lucky that day but I still enjoyed
snorkeling and seeing all the marine life below.

Our last stop for the day was Big Lagoon, which is a popular attraction in El Nido. To get to the
lagoon, we had to rent a kayak and paddle our way to the lagoon as island hopping boats are not
allowed there. The water is too shallow in this area even if it's high tide. Once in the lagoon,
we were allowed to get off the kayak and swim. Just be careful to check the bottom of the ocean
as there are a couple of spots with lots of sea urchins.

It was another perfect day in El Nido. The weather was good. The food that we had for lunch was fresh and delicious. I can't tell which of the two I enjoyed more because they were both equally fun, and each tour had something unique to offer.

This one ended a bit later compared to the other tour. It was almost 5pm when we got back to the port, and I was pretty exhausted after.

And that concludes this blog post. You'll read more about El Nido in my upcoming posts. I can't wait to tell you about the rest of my trip,
