Alegria is a Spanish word that means "happiness" and I couldn't have found a more perfect word to describe how I feel whenever I go to this beach.

Alegria Beach is a white sand beach in Sta. Monica. In my opinion, this is the best beach in Siargao as it has the clearest waters with fine sand. No rocks, so it's completely safe for swimming.


Alegria Beach is a public beach so there is no entrance fee. There is also no parking fee. There are some huts for rent in the area, if you will be bringing food and eating there. But it is totally fine to just have a picnic on the beach.
