Here are two more hidden gems in Bohol: Ingkumhan Falls and Dimiao Twin Falls. Both are located in the town of Dimiao, which is roughly 60km away from Panglao. You can visit these two in one trip.

When we were in Bohol, we rented a motorbike and drove from our hotel in Panglao. It took us about one hour to get to Ingkumhan Falls. It is easy to find via Google Maps so you won't get lost.

Once you arrive at the location you will see a small parking area and a ticket office where you have to pay an entrance fee.

From the jump-off, you just have to follow the signs along the concrete path to get to the falls. It took us less than ten minutes to reach the falls.

Dimiao Twin Falls, also called Pahangog Falls, is a short drive from Ingkumhan Falls. You can locate it via Google Maps

When you arrive at the location, there is a parking area and a small shack where you have to pay for entrance. From there, it is a ten to fifteen-minute hike on a rocky trail going to the waterfalls.

Once you're there, you can swim around and enjoy the cool water. If you don't know how to swim, there are floaters that you can rent for only PHP20. You can also rent a hut to chill at.

There are also a few "cliff" jumping spots in the area, where the water is pretty deep so you won't hit the bottom. I tried them and it was fun.

TRAVEL NOTES:

Expenses:
  • Ingkumhan Falls Entrance - PHP20 per person
  • Dimiao Twin Falls Entrance - PHP20 per person

What I love about places like these is that they are not too crowded so you almost get to enjoy them to yourself.

Currently, there are no tours being offered to visit these places so the only way to see them is by renting a motorbike for a day. Motorbike rental starts at PHP300 for one day, and for me, it really is the best way to see the island.
