Here is another hidden gem in Siargao. It's not part of the island hopping tours, and it's not included in the land tours either.

Tangbo Cliff features a cliff view overlooking the ocean. This spot is located in Tangbo in Sta. Monica. To get to this spot, you have to look for Danjug Nature Park, and hike to the cliff when you get to the area.

While I was there, I made sure to check out Danjug Nature Park. However, there wasn't really much to see except for some baby turtles in a cave. There was a nice view deck though and it is overlooking the ocean. From the view deck, you can see the Tangbo surfing spot.

From the entrance of Danjug Nature Park, the cliff is roughly a 10-minute hike on the side of the beach. Since it is not part of the nature park, there will be no one to guide you there. But you can ask someone to tell you where to start hiking and from there, there is a trail that will be easy to follow.

The hike was on a path of dirt and rocks. You do not need to wear any special hiking shoes. I was with a friend and both of us were just wearing flip flops.

It is also a cliff-jumping spot but you have to be careful and you have to be a good swimmer as the currents can get pretty strong.

If you are going on a drive to the north, best to check out this place. It is really nice and you usually have the place all to yourself because not a lot of people know about this place.
