Surrounding Siargao Island are several other islands, the most popular ones among these being Guyam Island, Naked Island, and Daku Island. Apart from these three, Siargao has a lot of unexplored islands or islands that are not being frequently visited by tourists. One of them is Corregidor Island.

Corregidor Island is an island that is an hour away from General Luna port by boat. It is a part of the town of Dapa. Just like all the other islands in Siargao, this island offers pristine white sand and clear cerulean waters but what sets it apart is that it also has a hiking trail going to the top of the island where you can see breathtaking views of Siargao.

The hike is approximately 1.5 hours back and forth, including the time spent for taking photos. After the hike, you can take a refreshing swim in the ocean.

Getting to Corregidor Island is very easy. Just charter a boat from General Luna port which costs around Php4500. Or better yet, you can book a hassle-free tour with My Siargao Guide for only Php1700. Inclusions are transportation, snacks, buffet-style lunch, drinks, and a side trip to a secret island. Either way, Corregidor Island is absolutely worth the trip so make it a part of your itinerary when you visit Siargao.
