I'm a fan of skin care. While make-up is great for hiding our imperfections and accentuating our assets, skin care is still key to flawless make-up application. Plus, having great skin beats wearing full coverage make-up every time.

I discovered The Beauty Bakery when I was hunting down good products based on reviews to include in my skin care routine. Before, my skincare routine would just involve a couple of steps but I realized that the more years I add to my skin, the more I need to do to keep my skin healthy and blemish-free. I saw The Beauty Bakery's Charcoal Clay & Scrub Mask when I was checking out masks at BeautyMNL. It had lot of good reviews so I decided it give it a try and here are my thoughts about it.

Pros:
  • It smells good.
  • It's made of natural ingredients and free from chemicals.
  • It deeply cleanses and exfoliates the skin and rids it of impurities.
  • It makes my skin feel smooth and supple.
Cons:
  • None, really.
This product comes in a simple packaging, with 100g content, for only Php199. It's very easy to use. Just rub it gently on damp skin and rinse. However, I like to leave it on for a few minutes until I feel my skin start to tighten. I feel like it gives better results that way. Also, did I mention that it smells really really good?
