Several months ago, I agreed to test and send an honest review and feedback on Unilab ActiveHealth SkinPro Anti-Chafe Cream. Back then, the product wasn't out on the market yet.
A few months after that, I received the entire product line as a gift from Unilab ActiveHealth. Their SkinPro line consists of three products: the Sunscreen Spray, the After-Sun Soothing Gel, and the Anti-Chafe Cream. I have been using these products for quite some time now and it's high time that I post a review.
Let's start with the ActiveHealth SkinPro Sunscreen Spray. What I like about this is that it's very easy to use. Just spray it 6-8 inches away from the skin. For the face, do not spray directly; spray it on your hands first and then spread the product on the face. It's as simple as that. Another thing that I like about this product is that it has a non-greasy and non-sticky formulation. It doesn't feel heavy. It is water-proof and sweat-proof. It has a cooling effect and it also keeps the skin hydrated and moisturized. What I don't like about it is its bulky packaging. It's not good for light traveling and I wish it comes in smaller cans or bottles. Another thing that I don't like is that it only offers SPF50. It's so hot here in the Philippines that we all could use a higher SPF for better sun protection.
Next up is the ActiveHealth SkinPro After-Sun Soothing Gel. I love this product because it cools the skin, soothes sunburns, and moisturizes dry skin. Because I'm usually exposed to the sun, my skin is always dry and flaky. Even if I don't get sunburned, I highly benefit from this product. It has aloe gel and chamomile extract which helps heal sunburned skin and prevent dryness. I also like that its formulation is non-sticky and non-greasy. It's very easily to apply and it's easily absorbed by the skin.
Finally, we have the ActiveHealth SkinPro Anti-Chafe Cream. This is the first product that I've tried from their line and it as been great overall. Basically, what it does is protect the skin from irritations, blisters, and abrasions caused friction during training, game, or race. I experienced chafing a lot on my thighs during runs and because of this product, I never had any chafing again. It's completely sweat-proof so it doesn't wear off during a training run or a race. It also moisturizes the skin and helps repair damaged skin. It's also non-sticky, non-greasy, and very easy to apply.
Overall, I am pleased with ActiveHealth's SkinPro product line. They have worked wonders for me, what with all the running, surfing, and swimming that I do. I love how these products keep my skin protected from the sun and how they generally take care of my skin. The Sunscreen Spray retails for Php590, the After-Sun Soothing Gel retails for Php190, and the Anti-Chafe Cream retails for Php290. You can order these products online by going to their website here.
