Located in Makati City, in one of the buildings along Ayala Ave. is a small and quaint cafe called Kooky & Luscious. It may be a familiar sight to Makati office-goers but it is still a hidden gem to majority of the people in Metro Manila.

While the places is a bit small, this cafe has a huge array of meals from sandwiches to pasta dishes to rice meals. It also serves a variety of coffee, teas, and desserts.

I enjoyed the pasta dish very much because it was delicious and very flavorful. The pasta was cooked just right. Fish fillet and pesto sauce was an unusual combination, yet everything sort of went perfectly together. The serving was huge. As for the Dementia cake, it was one of the best chocolate cakes I've tasted. The waiter said the cake was so delicious that one would forget their own name, thus it was called Dementia. Needless to say, it surpassed my expectations. 

Kooky & Luscious is located on the ground floor of Metro Bank Card Building, 6778 Ayala Ave. in Makati City. This cafe opens as early as 7:30am so it's great for breakfast. Then again, it's great for brunch, lunch, and even dinner. I loved this place, so I highly recommend that you drop by when you're in the area.
