Want to help save a life? Then join MaTibay Miles: A Benefit Run to Save Baby Tibay. It's happening on April 9 at Plaza Burgos in Guagua, Pampanga.
Stevie Arghie Marcia, fondly known as "baby Tibay", was diagnosed with biliary atresia when he was just a few months old. Biliary atresia is a rare disease of the liver that occurs when the bile ducts do not have normal openings. This disease is life-threatening, and in the case of baby Tibay, only a liver transplant can cure him. A liver transplant procedure can be really costly here in the Philippines, so in order to help raise funds for baby Tibay's operation, this event came to be.
