Pinoy Fitness 21k Challenge 2016: Race Details

Get ready to run your fastest half marathon as Pinoy Fitness will be holding its third edition of the Pinoy Fitness 21k Challenge on November 13 at the SM Mall of Asia Complex.

Here is everything that you need to know.

For the past two years, this event has three categories: Sub-2XU, Sub-2:30, and the Fun Wave. On its third year, Pinoy Fitness has decided to replace the Fun Wave category with the Sub-3 category so that all the participants will be challenged to push themselves and to run their best half marathon ever.

As always, there will be a team competition that participants can opt to join by forming teams of five (5) runners. There will be three categories for the team competition: all-male, all-female, and mixed (needs to have at least two female members). The top three teams per category based on their average finish time will be awarded.

Apart from the race kit inclusions such as the bib and the race singlet, all participants will get a finisher's shirt. Sub-2XU participants will also get a finisher's jacket. Sub-2:30 and Sub-3 early-bird online registrants have the option to get a jacket for an additional cost of Php500. 

All participants are also entitled to get a finisher's medal if they finish the race within their respective qualifying times. That is less than 2 hours for Sub-2XU, less than 2 hours and 30 minutes for Sub-2:30, and less than 3 hours for Sub-3. Also, the top 300 finishers per category will get a gold medal. Take note that this event is only open to runners who are 18 years old and above. Also, to complete their registration, Sub-2 participants are required to submit or email a proof of a 21k finish at 2:30 OR a medical certificate with a six-month validity.
